This card is amazing powerfull! (should have a limitation or something).

Can you distribute the success tokens to different stories?


If hes unopposed and wins 3 success tokens can he put 2 success tokens on 2 other stories?

The tokens are placed one at a time (one when you win Investigation, one when you 'succeed' at the story, and one when you check for unopposed, so you can put each one in a different location, put two on one story and one on another etc. if you wish.


This guys limitation is no Terror, Combat, or Arcane, good luck keeping him alive for long enough to get more than one use out of him...

4 skill + fast = fights david pan so its good in my book! It aint too hard to give him toughness and willpower from other explorers neither.

on his own, he isnt that great because of how vunerable he is to removal and story struggles. paired with other exlorers, this guy is sick.

does his ability work at conspiracies? like say I were to commit him, hastur and the thing in the yellow mask to opening night, would I be able to move the success tokens placed by hasturs ability at opening night to some story card that is out?

Yep, Conspiracies count as Stories, so cards like this affect both.

Webb is a solid combo card for opening night with terror victory effects. You can get the devastating effect of all the (T) wins, but make progress somewhere else, so the opening night card stays in the game longer.


Btw, you don't need Hastur to be committed in that combo, his ability passively affects all stories.

Scheme of Byakhees also works well in there.

ooohhh I didnt know that about hastur. that is huge!

Combine with story attachments to get more mileage out of them.  Since Mr. David Pan was mentioned above, I'd throw Parallel Universe out there, but that's kind of straight-forward.  I really like it with Open for Inspection, and how about a conspiracy like Combing the Archives?  Webb is a lot of fun, but he is pretty vulnerable, as mentioned above.  He makes a good target for Protecting the Ariniq.
