I've spent 3 for less impact before. He likes a Flesh Ward, that's for sure. And given how Yog cards tend to come back from the discard, he might get an extra go or two.
Edited to add: I'd just keep him on defense. With all that skill and two Investigation, Reckless is a good way to see that your opponent's commitment to a story means that he gets no tokens and you get one. Also, no arcane, eh.
Edited again to add: He's probably not going into any deck that doesn't have a special use for Scientists and/or Elder Things.
