Maester Toolbox deck -- Chain Links with Baratheon Stand tricks. Steel Links: Valyrian Steel, Pale Steel, and regular Steel links come out early to draw cap and stand with the ability to float out Apprentice Collars/Rusted Sword/Devious Intentions as needed. Massey's Hook/King Robert's Hammer provide location commands to Stand, while Marya/Kingsguard's Squire provides character commands to Stand (with Copper Link to grant Kingsguard trait.) No Shadow versions of Knight of Flowers & Robert aim to gain Devious Intentions for power and strength gains.

Is this for melee? Because the agenda, Robert Baratheon and the Knight of Flowers are all restricted in Joust.

Rediculous standing tech is always fun though.
It's deck looks vicious. I'm not very good with the whole Maester tech, but I can get behind this one. Good job.
Did "Poisoned Coin" ever come to mind in this deck?
House Stark only
Not through the "put into play" effect of the Pail Steel Link. Put into play bypasses all gold penalties and House X only cards.

No it doesn't. House X only means you must be playing that house card to be able to include that card in your deck. If you do not have that house card, you can not include it in your deck list. House X only does not mean you can't play the card, it means it can't be in your deck list unless you have that house card in play.

Hmm. Went back through the Core rule book & your right. I thought you could have, for example, a "House Stark only" in a Baratheon deck, but you couldn't play them legally. PSL can bypass all play restrictions, but if you can't get into the deck to begin with then I guess it doesn't work.
Ten Towers, Ten Towers Longship, Doran's Schemes, Enslaved, Ygritte, and cards of the like are the only way to get "House X Only" cards into play on your board. They are definitely legal once under your control, but you cannot have them in your deck when you sit down to play.

To address an earlier question -- after reviewing the Restricted List, I swapped out Robert for his brother Stannis (with conditional stealth/renown/vigilant) and Banner Bearer.

Certainly it would make for a good melee deck -- but the trick is keeping the maesters alive! Pylos is susceptible to burn, but Lomys has a great ability that lets him kneel at will(btw, you can decide to discard power from zero of your characters) and make characters "cannot be killed" until the end of phase. This can telegraph a board wipe, but with the gentler Wildfire that allows you to keep all of your characters if you have a bunch with power sitting on them.

For Joust:
-1 King's Law
-1 City of Sin
+1 Search and Detain
+1 Men of Pride
-1 Valar Morghulis
+1 Wildfire Assault

-2 Robert Baratheon
-2 Knight of Flowers
+2 Stannis Baratheon
+3 Banner Bearer
-1 Oldtown Advisor
+1 Maester Cressen

-1 Huntress
+1 Storm's End

Ugh! the restricted list needs to be organized better.

-1 Search and Detain
+1 Melisandre's Schemes
