Melisandre is strong enough, in any of her forms, to warrant inclusion. And the watcher of the nightfire (from the new chapter pack) is pretty hoss as well.
Your curve is very high. I'd take out some of the higher curve characters and try and lower costs, otherwise your setups are going to go very poorly. And on the topic of gold costs, your gold curve for your plots isn't great, and waste their time is just awful. And just when will you ever be ahead on the board with your costs (to play Fear of Winter)? Replace both of those, and use Val as your restricted card, she's so brokenly good with TLS.
Then again it's all in my head, I wouldn't know how this would go in an actual game until I try. On the rest of what you said, I'll have to agree
