There's only one restricted location that can be chosen as a House of Dreams.

A build for a small tourney because the fewer the rounds, the less chance of a bad match-up when it auto-loses (Fleeing the Wall, Favourable Ground) or should lose (Attack from the Sea, Dry Season, burn). Otherwise it feels like a pretty strong build (untested).

Defend 1 challenge per round with the protected Maiden's Bane (16 warships, 3 First Mates to help deploy/return them)

Plenty of card draw from Rivers (+ Iron Victory, Black Wind, Reader)

Make attacks whenever excess to defence (with Scouting Vessels and threat of Black Wind) until 1 of your 3 Naval Escorts appear, then go to town

A variant would be to go down Escort-boosted Intimidate with Bloodthirsty Crew, Cotter Pike, the other Victarion (to add to Qarl and Moqorro) but the economy/resilience of First Mate, threats like Murenmure and this more defensive Victarion was preferred. So was this a mistake?

Plenty of saves to win through with its resilience. It ain't pretty but it does the job effectively.

A more rounded build would be 3 Finger Dances instead of 3 Iron Cliffs but this prefers bolstering strengths instead of mitigating bad match-ups. Influence-based builds took a pounding losing Red Keep so maybe Seasick instead? It's a meta call.

Greyjoy is the House I'm least familiar with so any feedback is more than welcome.

I'd definitely put a couple of Seasick and/or Alannys for Favorable Grounds. Interesting looking deck!
Thanks for the feedback, Nikola.
I agree, the build needs cancel protection but I'm too much of an all-or-nothing over-focused strategist.
With so many cheap Ironborn (refugees, drowned, boatswain) I was tempted by 3 Finger Dance more
I think I'll jettison 3 Bay of Ice for them (despite 3 Cogs, rivers sufficient draw and plots have quite low initiative)
The minor added synergy is that a First Mate can collect any warship discarded to Finger Dance.
I'd be wary of Bay of Ice with all your low Initiative plots. While Captured Cogs help, thats probably not enough on its own, in my experience. You may well end up either feeding draws to your opponent, or having Bay of Ice sit dead in your hand.

I played something along these lines at my Regional and won. I didn't use Rivers, instead running a good number of two-claim plots and plots with more utility. Balon Greyjoy (KotS) is great for this deck, especially as it can be slow.
