, mainly to continually wipe opponent's characters off the board, but also to steal any power their house may have accumulated. Obviously the primary weaknesses are saves and cancels, or rather the complete lack thereof, but most games have worked out very well so far.At first glance it may look like getting characters out could be rather hard, however this deck is actually quite fast. Sunset Sea, River Row, Street of Sisters and Street of Steel provide the bulk of quick and free cost reduction, while Ambitious Oarsman and
thirteenteneight Warships tend to make it possible to play all or most characters in hand, even with the high cost of some of them. The Bay of Ice, Longship Black Wind, Longship Iron Victory and Longship Silence are all there for draw, not to mention their very handy abilities. While I don't particularly like Cragorn, he is very cheap and has a War icon, so he's in there to feed Assertion of Might.v2: House of Dreams should not have been in there (used it in an old version but forgot to remove it), and decided to replace Forgotten Plans with Rains of Autumn to provide a bit more gold and a little choke. Has been updated but will take a while to post.
v3: Well, apparently v3 was never actually submitted for some reason, so am including what would be v4 changes as well. Replaced one copy of Cragorn with one copy of Nightfall. Figured that for the same price I can potentially get another War icon on the board, plus Nightfall is sort of like a guaranteed Deadly (though only for non-unique characters) whether I attack/defend or win/lose. Even more incentive for opponents to not declare defenders, assuming they have any once I'm done stealthing. After several more games against additional decks have decided to replace the Refurbished Hulks with Gatehouses, and also replace Rains of Autumn with Fury of the Kraken (a proxy, unfortunately) and Torrhen's Square with King's Landing Coup (purely for the stats, not the ability).
v4: Somehow I completely spaced it and had both Fear of Winter and Fury of the Kraken in there, making the deck illegal for tournament play (thank you for mentioning that Newoo). I have since replaced Fear of Winter with Take Them by Surprise, and also Storm of Swords with War of Attrition, bringing the average Initiative up to over 8. Iron Fleet Raiders have also come out, being replaced with one more copy of Cragorn, one copy of Maester Wendamyr, and one River Blockade (damn if that ability ain't awesome). Considering the already high Plot Initiative plus three Bay of Ice, I have decided to replace Captured Cog with River Row, Street of Sisters and Street of Steel, both because they're free and they can reduce cost whether or not an Ambitious Oarsman is in play. Also, the Gatehouse have been replaced by an equal number of The Iron Mines, because not having any saves was...well...killing me. I know 20 Locations seems very high, but remember that over half of them (13) are free and now none are Limited. Only 27 Characters may be a bit light, but nine of them cost 4 gold or more, making the deck somewhat on the pricey side.
