Unopposed challenges, double or triple hit characters with stealth, nice buffs or unkillable characters to defend your house (old way agenda) or killing your oun for some power.

The power of faith plot as the main event, with initiative to claim/renown 7-8 or more power.

I took the idea from JCWamma's rise of the kraken - Our way is the old way deck.

I've a hard time taking of more cards (I struggled getting to 67) any advice is more than welcome.

I haven't playtasted it yet but maybe economy wise its a little short. Even though thats why I've Plunder and good initiative for the gold

Firstly - You have two restricted cards - Fury and Retaliation, so one of those needs to change.

With how fast you are aiming to win the game with all of the unopposed challenges and renown, is Pyke not too slow?

No Bay of Ice for extra draw? Especially with high initiative plots and Captured Cog, you should be the one drawing from it. Otherwise you may run out of steam.

Are the 4g characters worth it? If anything, I imagine Balon is more for turning off their King's than what he offers.

No Distinguished Boatswains? Sure they're not Holy, but they're cheap and solid (unless shadows are popular for your meta), and can act as claim soak to keep your Holy characters alive.

The low strength of the Drowned Disciple off-putting? Or is the stealth not important when generally things will be unopposed?

Are you that concerned of losing initiative for Ahead of the Tide?

I checked the FAQ 4.2 and for Melee they aren't restricted,I tought Pyke would help Asha and could protect some of my power but you're right.

Balon (even though I love the extended art), The Knight and Ser Lancel are out. (That helps the economics issue a little)

2x Ahead of the Tide replaced by 2x Bay of Ice (my idea was to use "Ahead" during Power of Faith Rounds) but the extra initiative and draw looks promising. (I don't like giving free cards :P )

Regarding my meta, yea its full of shadows (kingsguard, Bara and Targ) and the Drowned Disciple doesn't feel too solid or maybe it's just me and I'm trying not to mill (in a Gj right!?) :lol:

Now, the general assumption is that decks posted are joust unless mentioned elsewhere. As such, my comment about your plots is moot, but so is some of my other advice.

With 3 opponents competing for initiative instead of just the one, Bay of Ice is a much riskier card. As you said, don't like giving them free cards.

The mill is a perk of the Drowned Disciple, and not the reason you would take him - Stealth and knowing that if he dies he goes right back into the deck would be why I suggested him. Combined with Naval Escort and Bane, you could even win as defender, knowing they couldn't stealth past you, or that you could stealth past the one character who could cause you trouble.

Since Asha works if any opponent has more power than you, she is still likely to happen over the course of the game.
