This was a hasty rebuild of my Lanni KotHH that I used in regionals, done the night before the GenCon joust. It needs quite a bit of tweaks, esp. Pyromancer's apprentice which were useless. Need more characters. Superstars were the Brigands, of course, and Kevan, surprisingly. Kevan won me two close games.

Mmmm i figured pentoshi would be your restricted. Looks solid. Would you change the apprentices for more chars or for another location control?? (what did you tweak the knight before??)

I'm willing to bet nightmares are being considered for restriction....i've seen them in every good deck since last year, and i didn't use them because i didn't physically had them.

First, Francisco, BORROW CARDS FROM YOUR NORTH AMERICAN FRIENDS. It is allowed, and encouraged ;-)

The major change prior was replacing Castellan for Pentoshi, and teching for Targ, which I didn't face. The pentoshi's were not a major factor, except in helping set-up. I'll give it another chance since I know I mis-played them a couple of times, forgetting the 'remove keywords' part of the effect (doh!).

I've since taken out all the location control and added more characters. I also added Frey Hospitality; I rarely lost an intrigue challenge.

I'll remember for the next time....

Pentoshi....removing stealth and make them over attack is what they whefe made for, so do try the again (castellan seem expensive for your deck).

About plots....how many turns did your games turn out to be? (no time). I ask because we usually put a couple of openers, a closer, valar (or another reset), and 2-3 depends on situation change of pace. So where would frey hosp fit? (it has the inf for closer but riskier tha scheme, doesn't have a reset effect if you don't have better position.....i see it as an opener to frce valar)

Good thoughts. The prior version was opening with 'Breaking' with the second plot being one of the 5 gold plots. After that it was situational. Makes me want to try #1 Frey, then #2 Breaking, then another two claim plot.

Freys always a good opener for this type of deck

Try out the TToH Jaime. Ridiculous with Frey or Kevan as the agenda.
