3 cards short - Possibly characters as there are 27 of them?

Depending on you style of play, what about Volantis Inn? Keep Ser Preston out until the standing phase, kneel him to kneel one of their characters, and then chuck him back into the shadows, so you didn't really lose out on anything. Effectively means having a second Lannisport Brothel, which is never a bad thing.
Why not any kingsguard?
Venemous Blade is House Martell only

Neeever mind, I missed your agenda :D

Got pretty thoroughly beaten with it three times out of 5 yesterday though.

Swapping out the Refugees for Gregor's Dog, freeing up restricted slot for more draw with Pyromancer's Cache. As well as Arys, who was pretty much useless throughout the day for Jalabar Xho, to counter any nasty Noble Causes. Also thinking about putting a Lashing Out back in there.

Will try running Volantis Inn in a few test games as well.
Shame to hear you didn't do well yesterday with it :(

If you did go for Cache, do you not worry about having wasted draw? That, Jaime, Golden Tooth Mines, King's Landing and Tommen, just seems excessive. Though I assume there were times it didn't all come together, hence wanting more draw?

Have you thought about Lion's Gate? Helps activate Arys, and you can get the power on them with things like Pentoshi, or them having renown. It also helps shut down characters who rely on being the only King, such as Stannis.

What were the problems you faced? Was it more their deck or your deck?
Thanks for the advice! It's really helping having someone to bounce ideas off in my tournament post mortem.

One was a turn one loss to A Noble Cause, despite (possibly because of) my 7 card setup, I had three cards in shadows and he dropped a Shadow Enchantress and Power of Faith, didn't stand a chance. Also lost against a Stark Siege deck and Dothraki deck. Made me consider dropping in King Joff's Guard, for a bit more raw power but would probably want to run a version of Joffrey in there was well for another King character.

If I put the Cache in I'd probably drop KL to avoid overkilling it with draw.

Lion's Gate is another thing I'm considering but don't have that CP yet.

When the deck works, it works really well. There's some great combos in there, popping Cressen to get back your key locations back, popping Arianne for City of Spiders, more kneel and two claim and the closer is Preston + Queen of Thorns (and Tywin for added fun) grabbing power.

An extreme move I'm also thinking about is moving away from City plots and running

Men of Honor
Forgotten Plans
Art of Seduction
Shadows and Spiders
Cersei's Scheme
All the Gold in Casterly Rock
Valar Morghulis
What about Meera as your restricted? The extra cost due to City of Shadows wouldn't apply,. since you bring her out with her ability, not via the shadows framework. That way you can blank cards such as Shadow Enchantress. And Arya who will leave play but not die, she can bounce out that way.

Instead of a King Joffrey, what about Margaery? Bring out a shadows card, give Tyrion deadly, then have the pair of them attack on intrigue, she drags in a frustrating character (such as the Shadow Enchantress), then watch them die to deadly.

Would more kneel help you? Not kneeling to attack does nothing for them when you kneel all of their characters.
Meera and Margaery are both good shouts, just don't have them in my card pool... Yet. KOTS Joffrey, Marg, Tommen and Cersei should be enough to reliably get the army out for cheap (and it's another kneel effect).

I'd also like to round out the gold weenies with one less money lender and 2x the power icon one, but again not got the CP.

I think there's enough kneel in there, it just doesn't all hit first turn. Think I might swap Wildfire for Valar, even with plot cycling I reckon I can recover from it faster. Playing it early in any of the three games on Sunday would probably have turned the tide in my favour a little.
I'm new to this game but have tried a Lannister shadows deck to some success.

One thing I've enjoyed and found affected in my limited metagame is use and abuse the Lannister rookery, as a mid-challenge phase Valar Morghulis often leaves me in a good position to bring multiple cards out of shadows in the following phases, and be in a stronger position next turn. Failing that, a mid-challenge phase City card can be pretty damn good too.

I'll try to post my deck later.
I considered getting that CP for the Rookery and more plot cycling. I'd be nervous about purposely losing an intrigue challenge though, unless it's there to put an opponent off making an intrigue challenge against you. Which you shouldn't be too worried about anyway in Lannister.

The way I've found it works is that because of putting stuff into shadows I'll often be in a weaker position on the board in some challenge phases, but I'll typically have an Intrigue weenie out, such as Doubting Septa. I then make a Challenge with them, and if it connects, thats one card discarded, and if it doesn't, I trigger the Rookery. Also, of course, the opponent can't make an Intrigue challenge at me without risking the rookery triggering. All in all, it turns every Intrigue challenge into a tough choice for the opponent - give me the win on it, or give me a free on-reveal plot card effect.
Its not overwhelmingly powerful because that choice is in the control of my opponent, but then its only a 1 cost non-unique non-limited location, so I don't expect too much from it.
I use it in the Shadows deck rather than my other Lannister decks simply because Valar Morghulis really needs to be played mid turn for a Shadows deck, as a 2 gold 0 claim turn is just too weak. Also, of course, all the cities are on-reveal effects.
