More or less get Clansmen out, uniques to buff them for defending, attacking and cannot be killed while knelt. Mimes for additional cheap clansmen with Intrigue. Pycelle for card draw if needed, Heralds to bring out named cards. Tywin for fun, love the additional 2 gold a turn.

Locations were pretty interesting here, Mountain Camp to lower clansman cost and bring out knelt(Great for Timmett and anyone following him), though I'm unsure how many to include at this point, 1-2 should suffice. Hidden Vale for sacrificial ambush if needed. Included Sunset and western Fiefdom for cost reduction, but i'm considering dropping Sunset and maybe throwing in a couple more events due to the number of locations i already have.

Events I chose like Fog of War will benefit my unique guys I do not want standing(Timmett) and negative impact on others. I am not sure about the Epic phase, looks like a great way for an additional intrigue and potentially get in a free card. Thoughts?

I've been working on a Clansmen deck myself (gonna post the updated one soon). Why did you choose to play the KotHH Agenda? Are you playing Valar as your first plot to try and even the playing field? Also, your deck is more intrigue-heavy than mine, I rather focused on the Clansman military prowess. Fog of War is interesting, maybe I'll try and find a spot for it myself, although I don't think I'll have the room.
Hi Saturnine

Yeah I like that agenda, that constant 2income with Tywin if i'm lucky allows me to allocate spots for locations such as brothel, hidden vale an hall of heroes.
Edit: wanted to add that i intended to use condemned by the realm to weaken others setup phase, I'd usually save Valar for when i'm overwhelmed or just want to ticket someone off :D

I did add some intrigue specific characters because i was a bit slack there, but it looks pretty even currently. 22mil, 12intrig, 16power in this build.
I will find out how this plays this weekend and may have to start from scratch :D Post yours up i'd love to see it for ideas as well!

Thanks for the comment!

Are you playing mostly melee? Condemned won't help in joust, as your opponent has to choose a character he doesn't control.
Yeah i'm mostly thinking 3-4 players thats generally the scenario I play with the guys
Ah, that's a nice plot for that situation then. Never really thought of playing it, but then again, we usually play our 2 vs 2 variant, so it wouldn't make sense there anyhow.

I don't quite understand the Lineage and Legacy Plot either, with Clansman being so dominant in military challenges -- why possibly gate yourself out of a military challenge. Sure, you can probably win one a fair amount of the time by committing a lot and then still have your Clansman characters be able to do military challenges, but I'm not sure what you're gaining with this plot?
You are actually right, that is very limiting good catch!
Generally I play defensive with military attacks in lannister decks so i guess that was just force of habit. I'm gonna change that out, maybe throw in a claim 2 plot
Yeah, after playing against this deck yesterday I think you'd benefit from 2 more 2 claim plots. Lineage and Porridge would be my first choices to remove. I can't remember if you have Fear of Winter (BtW) but it could be good if you play it on a turn where you already have fewer cards than your opponents. It will keep their hands clogged so you can benefit from your clansman abilities more.
I tried this deck and loved it! Even with some missing DB cards I managed to stay well out of reach of a Stark deck running Siege agenda and a semi-scary Martell (who got a rather lousy start). I'm a bit of a noob in this game, but certainly found the "empty hand / attacking with knelt (immortal) clansmen" to be very funny. I also loved the fact that I didn't have to constantly draw resource cards from the deck. As others pointed out: Condemned by the Realm is almost certainly going to negate the effect of your denied setup. I got lucky and played Tywin on the second round - and he stayed alive because condemned got a stark char with icy catapult and Areo Hotha (or what's his name...) as a bonus! Unfortunately Stark managed to build up after Valar and won.. Timmet was certainly the man who got the job done this game - and I would consider having more than one of him just because of his awesome ability to make clansmen immortal..
Awesome, glad to hear that Evil! I'm short a couple cards appears I need another Core set but I played this with a couple replacements as Darksbane said there. It was a bit too defensive for the decks i played against. A little tweaking for more offense and i believe i'll have a playable set. Of course the fun is in building and theorizing(sp) and your opinions totally helped with this one.
Thanks all!

We allow proxies at our games, so I fill up the slots I need with print-outs (great archive of card scans on this very site ^^). Works quite nicely. I have every chapter pack at least once, but I just can't afford to get like 3 or 4 copies of a chapter pack just to be able to fill my different decks.
Tuesday we had a lil 4player match happen at my place and we actually brought that up, we're going to use some proxies. some of us dont make the big bucks like mr darksbane there who has like 20 copies of each card!
Anyway, played the Clans deck again and it held out really well, but still not enough to win out. It is fun though, even vs a grey deck causing me to ditch all my cards :D
