In regard to intrigue characters, I have 22 characters cards with intrigue icons and while some are unique, not all of them are. Is this not enough? Do you normally recommend all 30 having intrigue?
I guess I was just a bit worried about getting steamrolled in red challenges. Cards like the hound, shagga, jaime give me really easy red defense. Shagga and Jaime (if i go first) can basically red attack, force them to either kneel and block or let it through and kill someone then they get to participate in the defense when I get attacked. Maybe this isn't necessary? I guess you could just throw in a lot of the weenies and just use them out for claim instead.
My thought on littlefinger was this. While hands down cersei is way better, it is always scary making your whole plan revolve around 1 card basically. This way if cersei were to die I have another non-kneeler (with stealth) that can do some real damage during the double intrigue. Is your thinking that by using control and a bunch of weenies the bigger cards wouldn't matter as much?
I was actually on the fence about creylen but I was just thinking he would be good when you need to grab that last bit of power.
What do you think about the plots? I really wasn't sure about those
regarding events : i play 3x condemned by the counsil,3x wrong dwarf,3x misinfomation,3x house divided.cant strech how good misinformation is.
regarding characters : i have 28/32 intrigue on my build.2 carrions 1 tommen 1 arys.although you make a strong argument about military,as you imagined i just dont care about it.between septas and attendants dying i have nothing to worry about.i use losing military like martel : you stick the "i lose more by making military challenges" mentality.its really aggravating too.
generally the pbtt deck has 2 main builds :
the aggro uses characters like yours with blockade, fear of winter for turns 1,2 trying to win of better setup and cersei as a closer.
the control one plays castellan or pentoshi manor and unimportant intrigue weenies with deadly on the intrigue to get the unopposed t1 is usually breaking and entering and if they still have cards in hand men of duty t2,then valar everything and ride the +4-6 card advantage.this control plays definitely breaking & entering, shadows & spiders, valar.the rest can be loyalty money can buy, forgotten plans, frey hospitality, cersei scheme, game of thrones, art of seduction, men of duty.
I would suggest adding in some weenies that produce gold for you and adding Bronn (LotR) as he is a good deterrent.
Aggro means aggressive, though most people wouldn't consider PBtT aggro so much as rush. Generally aggro is meant to as a deck that focuses on winning challenges in order to gain claim, while rush is a deck that focuses on winning challenges to gain power. (It sounds like they'd be the same, but really they're quite different.) Not everyone holds to those definitions though, and some decks are both (Stark siege for example).
"Aggro" means "win as many challenges (usually of a specific type) as possible, with the intention of winning after game control has been attained". Think of it on a spectrum of Rush => Aggro => Control. There's no dividing lines, but there are characteristics that put a deck into each category.
So PBtB is considered 'aggro' since you are multi-attacking Intrigue as many times as possible to empty the opponent's hand, and there for allowing you to win via game-control. Arguably, Baratheon Renown could be considered "aggro" as well, however since you aren't 'controlling the game' its also a bit in the 'rush' category.
there are rush elements you can play : cersei, creylen, lannisport, epic battles etc.
aggro elements weenies with deadly like house pain enforcers and bron's hirelings
soft control like penny,attendant,pentoshi manor
and hard control like castellan, brothel, you 've killed the wrong dwarf etc.
the percentage of the above is dictated by the meta but mostly by player's style and in return dictates the plot deck.a perfect example is frey hospitality vs cersei's scheme.in my pbtt builds i played frey almost always but now scheme is starting to become kind of a permanent swap.
