This deck is pretty straight forward. Begin with Starfall in play for House of Dreams and start pumping out characters, leading with a Starfall Healer, Bannerman and some heavy hitters and start racking up some gold on the characters.

Slightly vulnerable to wipes as Valar etc, but the low amount of Unique characters makes this pretty manageable, and it's fairly simple to get it going again. The plot deck is designed for Melee, but I think it's pretty viable in Joust aswell due to the high claim.

It has a few glaring weaknesses, but I think it's a pretty good casual melee-deck.

You couldn't use it in joust because both Burning on the Sand and Manning the city walls are restricted, but you could swap the latter for Men of Pride (2 claim and good gold)
Well, I mostly play Melee, so that's fine. Men of Pride is stab in my own back though as I only play two different unique characters in the deck. I would probably go for Assault on King's Landing (Or some mutual X/ Power of Y for Claim)
Just curious, why Patience (MotM) x2 if you are running Starfall (ASitD) and all the gold counters that go with it?
Is there a reason you decided to forgo Starfall Skirmisher (AJE)?
At first I was going to run one Patience (MotM) just in case I had to save against something unexpected, like an ace up my sleeve, but another one snuggled in there somehow. As for Starfall Skirmisher, it's simply because I don't own the card. I probably won't run anymore characters in this deck, but even so I'll probably play this card once I get my hands on it in exchange for something else.

I'm slightly tempted to kick the non-dayne Maesters as they don't play along with the other cards, but I'm reluctant as I think both are pretty good cards in support with Vengeful on Maester of the Sun (ASoS) and some possible, if slightly far-fetched, card draw on Informed Acolyte (TIoR).
I highly reccomend picking up 'A Journey's End' since you not only get the Starfall Skirmisher, but the best Martell card of the cycle, Choosing the Spear (AJE).
Otherwise, I'd say do +2 He Calls It Thinking (PotS) and -2 Patience (MotM). You have so much gold and those weapon attachements going on characters that you're better off with saves & cancels than returning characters to your hand. That's my take anyway!

You're right you don't wanna lose renown from the cavalry and such :)
Probably mutualenemies and those "deal" plots can turn out to be awesome in melee, much better than men of pride :)
