So before everyone in our meta starts getting their hands on the reprinted seasons cycle, I figured I'd get a summer deck together to try out in melee games. The deck is a bit slow to gaining power until about turn 4 or 5, but it seems like its got plenty of potential.

There are several card draw options between the Summer agenda, Bay of Ice (with a lot of high INIT plots) and Sam. There are good saves with the 3 starfall healer. Summer Reserves plus the Bannermen of the South (granting vengful) means you won't mind loosing a few challenges. There are a few cards to deal with specific troubles such as bastard, condemned by the council, paper shield and Maester Lemonwood. Poisoned spear is there incase anyone picks me to search for an in-house attachment and is great on any character that I can stand back up or doesn't kneel (Red Viper, Vengeful, Training Grounds, or High Ground). Dawn is just to awesome to pass up with some in-challenge targetted kill.

Hopefully you draw into either (or both) the Black Raven and Starfall. If not, use the plots to search them out. I suggest the raven first just to increase your gold and card draw. Better chance of getting the location. Building Seasons has worked great in also getting out Bay of Ice when I already had Starfall and wanted to increase my draw.

The perfect turn you are looking for would be using Storm of Swords with Training Ground in place and some Southron Mercs and Starfall Calvary. Just 1 of each out could net 12 power if the 3 challenges were UO.

I will make an additional post of cards I would like to find room for, but feel free to give any suggestions to this deck or ask for an reasoning to any card decisions.
