The original idea was to have a very strong defense, punishing opponents for attacking me, coupled with small stealthy attacks.

Used to have the war scorpion attachment before i got the venomous blade card. Trying the blade nowadays.

Venemous Blade is one of the best cards in the game. i think you made a good choice going with it. if your going to focus on punishing people for attacking you you should include Field Spikes, i've always liked that card.

Yeah, i suppose field spikes have a nice synergy with areo hotah. I don't quite know what to remove to make room for them though, or if i have a good enough draw engine that the deck can carry 3 more cards.

I also think i want to replace The Breaking of Oaths with Condemned By The Realm.

Why so many duplicates of unique characters? I'd think except for the ones who are most important to your strategy you should likely replace some of the duplicates with Herald of the Sun (SB), especially since you are playing Wildfire as your reset instead of Valar.

Lord Doran's Chambers is unique so I'd only play one copy of it.

You're going to be most vulnerable to military challenges a copy of Maester Aemon (Core) can help mitigate that.
