I would like people's opinion on this deck as its the first Martell deck i have ever built and it would be a great help to know where i could improve the deck or where i may have gone wrong!

Too many characters! ;)
Could you tell me why i have too many characters? Still a noob with Martell builds!
I was just being flippant :) But, some background...

This is by no means a hard and fast rule, but in general Martell KOTHH works better as a solid control decks. Not worrying about a setup means you can include more events than normal (and Martell has some of the best events in the game) and these decks tend to be work very effectively with resets like Westeros Bleeds, which should affect your opponent more than you if you go lighter on characters. You're likely to be coming from behind for a late game win once you have all your control elements in place and have wiped your opponent's board a couple of times, throw in The Red Viper and some more renown guys on a To The Spears turn and go for the win.

Many KOTHH builds run 22-25 characters and 20+ events. However, that may not be what youre going for which is absolutely fine - just giving you some background! Others who play Martell more often will be more clued up than me.

Have a look at this deck, for example - did very well in the recent OCTGN online tournament. 18 characters!
