This gives you a pretty decent draw scheme which we have backed up with Val. This deck has a large number of powerful answers for particular threats. Newly Made Lord & Condemned by the Council are there to deal with troublesome locations such as Ghaston Grey. Tom Sevenstrings, paper shield, and hand's judgement all protect against troublesome events, such as game of cyvasse. Daario, Jorah, Oakheart, Khal, Pyat Pree, and Melisandre all provide for a bit of character removal. The only really important plots in this deck are the seasons, fortified position (as an answer to core mel) and valar, the rest can be arranged to taste (allowing you to come up with even more answers to troublesome cards). One advantage of this deck is that it is highly customizable. So long as you retain a large number of answers for your problem cards (say the newly made lords, condemneds, sevenstrings, paper shield and hand's judgement) virtually everything else is modular, if you're having a problem with attachments in your meta remove some characters and toss in some characters to deal with attachments, after all you have the best character base in the game. |
