I have been pondering a stalwart deck for some time now and the idea somehow evolved into For Family and Honor deck I present to you right now.

The deck is very attachment heavy, but keep in mind that one copy of every chain goes on the Maester's Path. I also didn't manage to thin it down to 60, so maybe you guys could help me with that.

To take full advantage of For Family and Honor I run 3x Banner of the North and 2x Copper Link that can change any attachment into banner. Campfire Lights can search for a Bannerman or Riders of the Red Fork and with Galbart Glover they can also return them from discardpile.

Followers of the Many-Faced God add extra stealthiness and can stand Robb or a maester who used gold chain for example.

Pale Steel Link deserves a mention as it combos with Dubious Loyalties or Poisoned Chain. Bronze link is there for attachment recursion and Winterfell Reserves for even more recursion (they combo with Luwin, however I have only 5 events for him).

I'm not sure about Caitlyn and Storm Dancer, since I have few shadow-crested cards and only the Crown to make it winter, but Cait's ability is just too good too pass up and I may need strong draw with all the stalwart. I do have Copper+Tin Link to discard Black Raven and Arya, Meera and Syrio can jump back into shadows so I'm going to give Cait a chance.

Narrowing the plot deck down to 7 was the toughest part. I went with An Empty Throne, Retaliation!, The Winds of Winter and The Minstrel's Muse for the rounds when I want to play For Family and Honor the most. Wildfire Assault instead of Valar, Spending the Winter Stores to get Campfire Lights or Crown of Winter and At the Gates is pretty self-explanatory.

Ah, I forgot to add Lucas Blackwood (GotC), but don't know where to squeeze him in anyway..

Also notice that Abandoned Fort, Maester of Last Heart and Guardian Wolf encourage more trait manipulation tricks, hence Old Nan.
Thanks for this deck idea and your description! I though about something similar.

Meantime I don´t think that the building around the Banner attachment will make a deck competitive, even though the events Compelled by the North (CtB) and For Family and Honor are really good. The point is, that you waste too many slots and only have 3 Banner for the North (+ trait manipulators).

Since you have lots of stalwarts you need a good draw I think. Thats why I really think Storm Dancer is quite useful.
Besides you included the Gates of Winterfell which I would run with at least two Wolf Herald (SB) (you can try to recycle them with the Banner).

Have you playtested it yet?

I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Not yet, I will ASAP, but I'm afraid that actually won't be too soon. I'll post a report here though, once I test it.

I share your concern. For a short while I even considered mixing starks with greyjoys to include Banner for the Kraken (CtB) for more banner attachments and some greyjoy characters (I could risk Theon Greyjoy (PotS) with plenty of stalwart characters, the rest would have to be played o-o-h though). But decided against it and went for maester sub-theme.
I hope that search effects and recursion effects will make up for the small quantity of Banners.

Thanks man, good catch! I knew I forgot about something (besides Lucas Blackwood (GotC)). Heralds were supposed to be in the deck list as well. I will either have to find a way to squeeze them in or cut Gates of Winterfell.

It's a pity FFG didn't develop some themes that appeared in Clash for Arms. Stalwart got a considerable boost with Follower of the Many-Faced God (CD), but it doesn't look like Banners or Bannermen will get much love soon.
