The community in Portugal is small so my experience is not much for now . My first deck , basically built with the Core Set and Queen of the Dragons, wore the Plot Heir to the iron Throne and the strategy going on: have Daenerys and Dragons . Playing with 3 duplicates of each Dragon and Daenerys, the number of characters in my deck was small and affects me when i have to satisfy the claim for example. when I played with my 2 friends deck was stable, percentage victory / defeat was acceptable. However , we decided to go to a local tournament ( my first ) and against other decks i took heavy losses . :S Thus, inspired other decks here , I created a deck that I think is most competitive . Still , I needed your help and expertise to improve the deck and reduce the number of cards . strategy : With the plot Knights of Hollow Hill intend to have more stable income of Gold ( which allows me to leave the locations with gold income to exchange it for other locations) , more initiative and more influence for the ambush . skipping the Setup phase , the first plot will Marched to the Wall by forcing oponent discard a card or the first snow of winter leading to discard all the cards to opponent's hand . i start fill the board with creatures using gold and ambush . Cards like : - Ghost of High Heart & Street Walif allow me to ' filter ' the opponent's hand and fill my with the cards in discard pile. - Viserys and Maester Aemon let me fullfill the military claim or Valar . - Assassin King 's Landing , Varys and Dragon Knight let me clear the board . Cards in doubt : - Jhogo - Fire and Blood Company of the cat - Magister - Illiro Parasite -Shadow |

I'm familiar with restricted cards, but i completly forgot to check XD
So i'm considering drop the street waif, the long lances and the hatchling's feast and stay with search an detain. What do you think?
General rule of thumb for the vast majority of constructed card games with a card limit is that you want in a minimum sized deck.
The smaller your deck is, the higher the chance you'll draw the card you want to at the right time.
Also, KoTHH decks are really hard to build. One thing to note with them is that you're not playing a setup hand, and the main reason people go for low cost characters is to get a decent setup hand down.
So while there's still a good argument for playing 0 and 1 cost characters in there, you generally want to be thinking about how much gold per turn you are generating, and how many cards you are drawing with what values. If you end up with more gold than cards, you're running somewhat inefficiently.
Targ KotHH is interesting in that it treats Influence as a true resource - something most decks can't easily do. Make the most of this, as its your main leveller of the playing field, allowing you to make back the 4-6 card disadvantage you lose at setup.
1 x Street Waif
2 x The Long Lances
3 x The Hatchling's Feast
when I built the deck, I tried to take into consideration what you said above. Use low cost cards to make up the fact that i skip the setup phase.
I think you might want to think hard about what you want the deck to do.
If you're thinking Ambush and Shadows, as the deck title suggests, consider going for the City plots to speed your shadow deployment, and The Red Keep as your restricted, and to make sure you have lots of influence generation. Consider trimming any cards that don't feed your deck concept, and adding more ones that do.
Also, think about why you're running Ambush and Shadows in the same deck. A better approach might be Shadows plus Influence, relying on the strongest Shadow cards along with some beneficial Influence based effects. In a deck like that Sorrowful Man could be a x3.
You have a lot of cards that are good in different decks here, but not necessarily together.
