With all those war crest characters, and resources invested in make them better. Why not Pike Phanalax (QoD) ?
i think i could afford losing tarly and the 3rd horde for two of those...thanks!
Along the same lines, I've noticed that Power of Arms x 2 makes for relentless and efficient Claim 2, when playing against these decks. I've also noticed that between card fetching and drawing and high cost characters, these decks often have a decent number of cards in hand, which might make Rule By Decree weaker.

I'd switch Rule and King's Law for 2 Power of Arms, myself. Kings Law has great initiative, but otherwise isn't critical to this deck and isn't as great a hoser as it might appear, given that most Shadows cards in use tend to be s0-cost ones. HoD-Dragonpit is hosed, thats just about it. If you want high initiative, Take Them By Surprise is better

If keeping Rule By Decree, I'd consider switching Negotiations for Fear of Winter, which has comparable stats, is more benefical to aggro, and synergises well with Rule By Decree, and is bypassed by Vanguard.

I've also learnt to really fear Pike Phalanx. On a Screamer turn of Power of Arms, thats probably 5 kills of claim made in one turn that most decks are hard pressed to stop.

rule by decree and kings law are silver bullets against bad matchups, you dont need your plot deck so much to win with dothraki.about your last sentence : burning on the sand, valar next turn, you lose.thats why i kept them out of the deck initially i suppose, they make you overextend far beyond any possibility of stabilising against heavy control
Thats fair, though I suspect the current meta is looking more character heavy and has weakened Bloodthirst and Martell KotHH (both are still viable, but aren't as good as before), so that matchup is less likely. I'd be more inclined to have 2 claim and the strength boost from Power of Arms, as high claim supports your victory every game, whereas silver bullets stop your opponent's victory in a small number of games.

Still, given that HoD shadow decks are still damn strong, maybe 1 Power of Arms and 1 Kings Law?

In the current environment, I think its likely you'll have more cards in hand than a lot of decks for a lot of the game, and you'll often be hard pressed to use Rule By Decree.
if i do have more that means that jhogo puts in a lot of work and doesnt die the moment he hits the field and meraxes isnt besieged-raly cried.thats all the draw the deck has and it has the potential to flood the field easily so i dont see where you are coming from...maybe you 're right.
