Where the HoP used burn effects to take out lots of characters in a Control style, this deck has more of an Aggro feel. The reduced cost mercenaries will use Rorge and Pike Phallanx to raise the claim of the military challenges and push board advantage. Heart of the Kingdom gives additional utility to the non-kneeling reducers of the Kingdom locations and that bonus lasts until the end of the phase. With Long Lances and Street Waif and HoftK, it would not be uncommon to see a boosted Golden Company win 3-4 challenges claiming renown and recovering your discard pile significantly. |
