The better and more beautiful version of her grandmother. The fact that her ability is not limited to Tyrell cards opens a lot of possibilities

My issue with her is that she replaces the 3 cost Margaery who has much better ability.

I think core Marg is better in your average deck but I think this one is really good in a deck that you build for her.  Banner Lion or Wolf and throw in all the Lords you can.  Especially some of those two cost Lords who can become Renly or Eddard or Tyrion.  If one of your big dudes gets taken out in challenges use her to bring in Varys and clear the board.

Jup. Core Margery is solid, but there are other ways to boost you strength. Lord/Lady builds seem to be the future for Tyrell and there already are a lot good Lord/Ladys in the actual card pool to make such a build work. I think she can only get stronger as the card pool grows. Her Renown is a very nice icing on the cake

I think her ability looks only good on paper. Try to run some decks with her and prove me wrong. My gut  tells me that to use her will be clunky. First of all most of the times it is your opponent who controls killing of your characters. And believe me, in case I see her on the table I would think twice to do MIL challenges/PttS/Tears unless I'm sure I can stop her from triggering (Milk, Nightmares, Treachery...).

If your opponent isn't making mil challenges because of Speed Dating Marg, then, in most cases, you're probably well on your way to winning because of all the renown Tyrell can muster. It can be hard to get the non-Mil kill effects to trigger against a faction with a good icon spread and strength boosts.

Correct.

Never underestimate the power of cards that force your opponent to change his common tactic or that force him to play around the card. The same thing was with Tyene Sand, I hardly ever triggered her ability, but my opponent had to concentrate all his tricks to achieve that, opening his flanks.

I'm not saying she is totally useless. I said it would be clunky to use her because in order to trigger her you will need 3 conditions to be fulfilled: she has to be on board, some lord/king has to be on board, and that lord/king has to be killed. Lords/Kings are usually expensive and with good abilities. In general you don't want them to be killed. So normally you play around and try to avoid death (as Syrio pointed out - "not today").

Also I prefer Margaery (Core) as her ability can benefit a wider range situations AND she is messing with the opponent's calculations too. For a half price and non-loyal trait. I would prefer if this new card would be the new version of Grandma, rather than Marge.

Btw I love the picture, do you know whether FFG is also selling prints of their games art?

In many cases, her ability is just going to be a bit of extra protection; decent, but not amazing - particularly since it means any targeted kill will just come for her first. If they do kill one of your Lords, well, you get something out of it. The real benefit of running her over Core Marg is the Renown and decent stats, particularly Renown on Intrigue.

Having said that, there is definitely some possibilities for combo decks with her. Martell, Lanni and Stark all have some cheap Lords who you may not mind throwing to the wolves (Possibly literally) to get out a 6/7 coster. Kill Rickon, get Ned? Sure. Turn Lancel into Tywin? It may not be enough to build a deck around, but there's still some definite potential there.

She won't be able to turn Tywin ever :) he is too loyal to go with her.

I did some counting as how many Lords/Kings can be used with her, except Tyrell all non-loyal for obvious reasons:

Neutr - 3x, Bara - 1x, Grey - 4x, Lanni - 7x, Mart - 4x, Stark - 6x, Targ - 1x, Tyr - 4x

When checking this list I realized what bothered me about her but couldn't define it before: in order to use her ability at best you would tend to include as many suitable cards as possible even ones which you normally would not include. Like Hoster or Rickon. She'e not only messing with opponent but also with me when I try to think of cards which to use with her.

If to use her then for her good stats+renown. And take her ability as a bonus. Not the other way around.

Probably fastest combo is - Margaery + Harrenhal (Lanni)

If you already have the King/Lord in play, Shagga is faster.

Just realized that this also is a very nice Valar-compensation

+ Tyrion or a Clansman. Playing Banner of the Lion in a Lord/Lady deck? Dunno if this Shagga combo fits here, at least it's not quite reliable, but of course possible

EDIT: it's a shagga combo, sorry, it IS a good combo

Any deck with a Lanni banner never seems to have any issue getting Tyrion!

Plus Lanni have the cheap non-Loyal Lords to kill off to get better ones. This Marg does look great with a Lanni banner.

Plus, everyone knows the best shagga combos involve the man himself!

Isn't it better to put just those "better ones" lords with some Bodyguards? Instead of some sh*tty lords and Margaery?

Sorry guys I'm still surprised about the hype this girl receives. She is very pretty I give you that, but she is overhyped.

I dunno about the art myself. The position of the hand combined with the eyes makes me think she is on heavy medication personally. Riding a horse indoors shows she isn't entirely with it. And what's with the guy at the front right? He looks just a little too happy to be there, clearly on day release.

Sultry Marge (core) wins for me every time on art. Champ card Marge from 1st edition is also one I'd take over this (though I expect that one to appear in the Tyrell box if anywhere).

As to the comment about not having good lords, imo your only really weak choices are Tommen or Rickon, both of whom at least have some niche use. With Bitterbridge and Crown now out its not like core Marge is so essential for a strength pump for Randy either.

We are going in circles. Time will tell ;) Concerning the art, as I said initially: she definitely is more pretty than her grandmother. But yes, here the core version wins by no doupt

I really love her, specially when supported with 2x Ghost of Harrenhal. I don't need to fill my deck with cheap lords to abuse her, I just need to let my big ones die (which tend to come naturally because who doesn't want to kill big renown characters) to bring them back next turn after another big substitutes them. It's also a great way to remove Milks and other negative attachments.

Looking into expanding her potential with a banner, Starks seem to be the obvious choice for extra cheap lords and ladies; although I must confess that I'm really tempted to build a Kraken one. Victarion, Theon, Damphair and Asha make a great noble package and the Iron Mines, Risen from the Sea and Damphair power can increase Margaery's survivability and allows for an offensive Valar to trigger her more easily.

I play her with Lions. Besides the nice Lord and Lady mix Lions offer, I have Treachery and Joffrey, who synergizes very well with Margery. When things go well, I'm done in round three, if not...well, at least it's fun to play

I tend to avoid playing anything that involves Lions. The meta is so full of them that it gets boring fast.
