It's pretty specific and limited. Great card, but not an auto-include for all decks.

On the other hand, there are decks where this is a straight replacement for Kingsroads.

Which IMO is the best kind of card for an LCG! Auto-includes are boring, cards that enhance particular strategies are wonderful.

I would disagree, this thing should have been in the d*** core set. It's a perfect card for banner decks (where reducers are not really performing)  and also it helps to create a long term economy for many decks, unlike the kingsroad which is single use.

It's not an auto-include but surely we will see a lot of this in so many decks.

I'm glad it wasn't in the core. For the first cycle and a half big characters were what won games big bombs. First snow made that even more so. And this would have sealed it as the only viable deck type. This would have been unhealthy in the early games environment.
