Hey guys! This is an interrupt, right? So it happens before the character(s) actually leave play, meaning this will trigger before kill effects - like wildfire assault. So I sacrifice smne and then wildfire triggers?

That's correct. In the case of most opponent's resets it lets you sacrifice an important character rather than kill them.

I'm not sure what exact situation you describe, but I assume you ask about the following scenario:

1. Wildfire was revealed - each player chose up to 3 characters and rest is killed

2. one of the killed character had Marriage Pact attached

3. Marriage pact triggers and since it's an Interrupt, it is resolved before killed characters leave play

4. owner of Marriage Pact has to sacrifice a character - and yes, that sacrifice can be chosen from the characters which are just being killed.
