I would have liked it if it had allowed you either to shuffle back 3 from your discard pile or 1 from your deadpile. As it is, it seems to be the worst plot from the coreset.

Atm I don't think I would include it in a deck but one day their will be a deck that runs 2 of these.

One day, this plot will be amazing.

I suppose they could have made it Summer instead of Kingdom, or given it an 8 Reserve, and it would still be mostly unplayable, but a little more interesting.

If they come out with "self-mill" effects/costs, it might go in that deck to re-shuffle key cards into a smaller deck. Adding 3x Dracarys to a 10 card deck is pretty good, adding it to a 30 card deck is negligible.

No. Just no.

If you have a really easy way to tutor the cards you return it  could be good

I use this plot in my nights watch fealty so when I don't have to be so worried about the cards I discard for Forrest ranger guy for money and at end of turn for hand size. I like it because cards I can use early or have no use early game just get discarded then cycled back I when I think they may be useful. Especially decent with characters and the watch has needs. I also really like reinforcements plot for the Rangers too discard for ability during then put into play for free.

Remember that decking is a loss condition. The value of this is more likely to be increasing the size of your deck to help keep you away from that loss, not targeted recursion. That said, there really aren't enough mill or draw effects to put anyone in danger of a deck loss, but that's my prediction: this card will become good when there is a real danger of being decked, not because there is some weird combo that potentially makes this semi-reliable recursion.

Oh yes

This plot is underrated and I will certainly test it come CP 2.

If this becomes a serious concern worth a plot deck I'm almost certain that running a 63 card deck will be better.

Because of that newly spoiled card?? I think you may be onto something there.

Yeah the stats on this plot are quite stellar so if you just can keep being able to search or draw into Dracarys your opponent is going to have a sad time!

that's what i thought as well, this just seems so strong.  you think bara kneel would be difficult to deal with? try dracarys every single turn of the game!

and not only that, if you run that one event you basically have to draw one of six cards to have the entire combo ready instantly.

Man if this weren't a kingdom I'd be so much more into it...I do like it with Shadowblack lane though, seems like a good combo, also maybe with tears/varys in an intrigue heavy deck.

Are you really seeing that much Naval Superiority that being a kingdom plot matters at all? It's not like you'd ever play this as a first plot and it's not like it's telegraphed either so I imagine the times this gets hit would be few and far between.

Yeah but it's already such a border plot that factoring in those times kind of pushes it over the edge of not playing in most cases. I would just kind of rather have Calm in like every case and Naval just adds to that.

I guess it could be used in a deck also running tutoring effects? Olenna's Cunning, The Watch has Need, Summons/Building Orders...

If searching attachments becomes a thing (I am speculating Street of Steel may do that if you win mil by 5+) then maybe Targ players could use it to get their Crown of Gold back?

Just immagine a targ deck with the crown, 3x dracarys and Fire and Blood as well as 2x PttS and Tears. And 3x Shadowblack Lane. to search every. single. one. of them. Then tell me again how recycling them is not worth it.

Well you wont be able to search the tears and PttS because they arent in-house. For this card its not so much that shuffling dracarys back is bad, but more is it better than other plots like filthy accusations where you dont have to draw  your control.

I am trying really hard to envision the usefulness of this plot and I'm coming up empty.

Some ways this card might improve with future cards released:

1) Replacement effect where instead of shuffling back into your deck, you instead return the cards to your hand(overpowered though).

2) An effect that supplements the number of cards you shuffle back into your deck.  (If an effect would shuffle cards back into your deck, you may shuffle an additional X cards back into your deck)

Probably not good enough still.

3) Replacement effect that instead of shuffling them back into your deck from the discard pile, you may also choose cards from your dead pile.

4) The Kingdom trait becomes highly coveted for effects that trigger off of it being on your revealed plot card.

Just a few ideas that probably won't come into fruition.

you probably haven't played against Martell with this and 2x Building orders! i tried it, it is so much fun to have Ghaston Grey EVERY. SINGLE. TURN.
