No. The Interrupt effect would literally use the term "save" to qualify it as a Save effect.
Technically, his ability is a replacement effect (see RRG, p. 18). He still dies, and still counts as being killed. It's just that when he dies, you put the card in your hand, not the dead pile.
What if he is attached with milk of the poppy when hes dies?
No clinging onto a rock for days if he's wasted. (He goes to the dead pile)
Specifically, since the attachment is not discarded until he leaves play, it's not like he loses the attachment and regains his text in time to interrupt the kill that started the whole process.
