GUY PLS HELP: Smne just played this card and had a few drowned god chars out. I played valar, so he just mooved the attachement around from char to char until he had 15 power and instawin the game? That can't be, right? It would mean all u need is 2 Drowned God Chars and this attachement first turn and second turn u play valar and win the game???

Valar kills the characters simultaneously. He can't move this to another character that is killed by Valar.

No, it's an interrupt, interrupts trigger before the kill. But I found the answer: Every interrupt can trigger only once per action that triggered it (FFG Rules Reference). That means u can do it only once per Drowned God character (that is killed). At least that is a BIT better then I thought.

can trigger it once per character that is killed. so if you have one out and 3 drown gods in play can win with valar on 12 power......its pretty dumb and assuming will get errated at some point

I was wrong. You guys are right. I was thinking the difference between "would be killed" and "is killed" was different from what it actually is.

Can someone explain to me how you can gain (as exampled) 3 power from one cudgel using valar if you have 3 drowned god characters? Each character has to be killed to completion, before the interupt goes off, and the interupt, move and power gain have to be fulfilled to completion before you kill the next character, even though they are considered to be killed simultaenously.

So if Chr A has the cudgel - is killed - we move the cudgel to next character B, gaining one power on them.

Character B then has to die, and therefore loses the power on them, surely? So it would only be the very last character you move it to, that would keep the power (and only then if that would have to be saved)

No?

It's an interrupt. You can move it to all of them before any of them die. The only difference between "would be killed" and "is killed" is that "would be killed" interrupts happen before "is killed" interrupts. Both types of interrupt happen before the killing. Page 23 of the rules reference lays out the difference in the "Would" section.

Thanks. So if there were two copies fo this cudgel out and 3 drowned god characters - would that mean 6 power? If so,Then this is card broken beyond belief.

Seems like this should have been a Reaction to make it less janky .If, for instance if it said Reaction: When a ... or After a ....  Then it would work as I assumed previously?

It could be "If it is not the Plot phase". Then, it would not be broken or OP. You would have to use Mag or count on military claim to acivate this.
