Forced interrupt means it's the Game which is triggering it right? So my opponent can use it too.
Reserve 4 and 3 gold means it's not an opening plot. Is it meant to be a counter to Valar? I can see a benefit for Lanni/Tyrell with extra INT/POW challenges.
That's an interesting question because The Red Wedding specifically notes "(Any player may initiate this ability)", whereas this one does not. Curious to hear what the ruling is.
Red Wedding is 'simple' Interrupt. So normal ruling is: only a player who revealed it, may (or may not) trigger it.
In case of this plot the Interrupt is Forced. Which means that it is triggered every time an INT/POW challenge claim is applied. The wording "attacking player may..." suggests that it may be used by opponent too. Otherwise it would be written "you may...".
Also - when interacting with Vengeance for Elia, it means that attacker has to decide first whether to apply MIL challenge instead and then Vengeance can be played. Forced interrupts are all resolved before normal interrupts.
Opponent can remind player to initiate it, but since card says "may" you can just say: "ok, I trigger it, but choose not to change claim". This plus it will not be stopped by Cat or Winterfel, which was mentioned.
