So I've been out of the loop for thrones since the start of the second cycle. Wanting to start playing again and play Targ. Is this card worth considering for a burn deck in the current meta?
Maybe as a 1 off, but its far too expensive most of the time. The issue is that for a 2 cost attachment you need to be getting the character into multiple challenges per turn to get value from the effect, or going second and hoping your opponent makes a mistake (which is counter to the fairly aggro heavy approach of Targ). The other issue is that this hits your own characters (other than this character), so it probably needs to be going on a high STR character in the first place that could win challenges solo. I feel like Mother of Dragons is an easier card to fit in to a deck than this, because with that you know that if you find it and put it on Dany it will have a huge impact on the game.
I'm not saying this is a card for a tournament cut deck but I've had great luck putting this on Mirri. She wants to win alone you won't be hampering you characters and makes it that much easier to push a kill through. That being said it essentially makes Mirri a 9 gold character but I've never been disappointed with it once the combo is together
