OK card, would definitely include at cost 1. Will be strong when Dark Wings Dark Words makes a return, should that happen.
I hate the Limit once per phase on it. By far most of the events are played in challenges, making this pretty much a 2 cost non-limited location that gives ~1 gold per turn which is pretty meh. It will become much better when there are more events that can be played any phase for good effect.
I did a little bit of testing with this, as I love the artwork too much, and I only put 1 in the deck but the times it came out it worked nicely. Works with Dorans Name during mid/late game for a gold rush after the taxation phase, free event +1g then +3-5g for plots. A lot to combo off but still fun
The point is that one would rather run, say, Sunspear at the same cost rather than this
No, I agree, there is better out there but it's still a valid card if you aren't in a super competitive meta. Unfortunately I am, so I probably won't be running it all the time but experimentation is fun.
