Printed strength is good too as Winterfell and the Wall don't help, and its not like Martell has burn.

man I wish this wasnt loyal, I'd so run in a Sun deck with Greyjoy.
Yes but Arianne isn't a using 8 gold if using her ability because you are putting a 4 or 5 cost character into play most of the time with her, so you aren't loosing gold advantage of putting the blade on her.
If this card leaves play before the end of the phase, (e.g. with Trading With Qohor), does the poisoning still happen? Or does the attachment need to stay in play till the end of the phase?
The killing still happens, because it is all part of the initial effect––the bomb has already been deployed, so speak, it's just on a timer.
If it had been templated as 2 effects (e.g "Reaction: When VB enters play, put a poison token on a character. + Reaction: When a phase ends, kill each character with a poison token.") then it would still need to be around.
