Move over Ghaston Grey

Anyone else feels this card is a bit too oppressive?

Yeh, works wonders for scaring the crap out of people marshall big hitters. It's pretty Op too. I wonder why Crown of Gold is deck limit one and this isn't? This is more powerful as it can kill anyone.

One question popped up for me:

When I have Harrenhal in play is it possible for my opponent to play a character and simultaneously a duplicate or a body guard to save this character?

So the main question is: do you have to marshall cards one by one (one after the other) or can you marshal them all at once. Can you marshal a character from the start with an attachement?

Would be glad to hear a valid answer to that :-)

Marshalling a card is an action, which is then followed by first reactions to the marshalling (Harrenhal) and then other players' actions before coming back to the active player. So no, only events such as Risen or preexisting cards on the board such as Iron Mines can save from this, the reaction will be triggered well before you have the opportunity to drop a duplicate or bodyguard.

Often the non-active players are not very dense with actions or opportunities so we tend to blend marshalling all together, but it is not in fact "One person does everything, then the other person does everything." Another very common play is using Lordsport Shipwright to kneel an economy location after it is marshalled, but before it can be triggered.
