Totally worth Here To Serving into play.
This guy really makes me want to try and build a Martell Icon-Denial deck. He can target at least one icon per turn (EDIT: Not he can't, I'm stupid). Plus Confinement. Plus the Attachments (which are cheap and, importantly, not terminal). Plus Nymeria.
Between them all you should pretty easily be able to push through effects like Tears, Put to the Sword/Torch, Superior Claim, Doran's Game, Support of the People, etc...
Maybe Banner Lion for the tricks and economy. Or Lords of the Crossing since you should be able to control the tempo pretty well with Martell...
EDIT: Yeah...so I completely misread this card and thought it removed icons not keywords. Still think he would be a decent fit into this kind of deck but he is simply not as useful as I thought he was. Still a nice way to mitigate certain power-cards though.
Are you sure you are not misstaking him for Caleotte? He can only remove keywords...
This guy doesn't remove an icon tho, right?
Seems more like a versatile counter for rush decks (Tarly's 3 x renown per turn) or crush decks (The Mountain/Euron), and just pissing off your opponent in general.
Yea Caleotte is soo much better but he could be useful against Robert and his Intimidate machine.
Lmao--I wasn't mistaking him for Caleotte, I just straight-up misread the card. Still think he would be a decent choice for that kind of deck, but am no longer anywhere near as excited for him.
Probably wouldn't Here To Serve him but I wouldn't hesitate to throw in a copy in a Martell-Prime deck.
Makes Gregor much less annoying. What's not to like?
Very much for the Martell Fealty/NA though, as he is stalling the opponent to let you get to plot 5/6 and Doran's Game time.
