She can by very good in Lannister or Martell hand-destroyer decks and potentially also in some Targaryen banner experimental decks. But it also really depence on the deck structure of the rival. Most decks today fortunately has 3 copies of 2-4 best characters and if this crone could hit one of them, it would be bonkers strong ability. Combination with Bara for Seen in flames could help.

Does this card combo well with Joffrey? For Joffrey, it reads "after a Lord or Lady is killed," but with the Crone, you're simply placing them into the dead pile. Does that really count as killing them for the benefit of Joffrey?

It does not count as being killed.

It does not. The character is dead, but has skipped the usual step of being killed.

If a unique character is placed into deadpile by this effect, what happen to the same unique character that is on the field?
