UPDATE: FINALLY updated this deck. Made a few adjustments like adding in Crown of Gold along with cutting a few cards.
Your ideal board is the Khal, Jamie, and a choice of either Tyrion, Rakharo, or Joffrey. Using the best buds (Drogo and Jamie) to bombard your opponent with military challenge after military challenge to help keep their character count as low as possible. With both of them having renown it'll keep pressure on your opponent along with Joffrey gaining power whenever they have to kill a lord or lady. Put to the Sword is also in the deck to help force those important kills and likely gain power in the process.
I put Treachery in the deck to help cancel those pesky disrupt effects. (Highgarden, Maester Caleotte, ect.) Hand's Judgement is in the deck to help cancel big plays or cancel the opponent's Judgement. Rattleshirt's, Viserys, and Cofiscation for some attachment control as well. I should also state that this deck is meant to be built WITHOUT the use of Dany since I wanted to see if Targ could build a good/decent deck without her. The only thing I'm on the fence about is taking Counting Coppers out for another plot, feel free to comment on any ideas you may have. :)
Sample Hand:
Plot Income: Average Plot Income: 0 Setup Eligible Cards: 0
This might be a total newb question... but why 3 dragons and no Dany?
"WITHOUT the use of Dany since I wanted to see if Targ could build a good/decent deck without her."
Although I think the answer is simply No, in core anyway. Joffrey is definitely not a replacement, especially as 1x Widow's Wail is likely to never arrive until Joffrey's been useless all game and when it does arrive (if he hasn't been sacked already for being a plain 3str monoicon), he's a plain 5str char and they can permanently destroy the only widow's wail with confiscate or We Do Not Sow, Viserys, Rattleshirt, etc. to keep him pathetic.
Dany provides essential card draw that can't be replaced by anything else. Her ability is also among the strongest in game and even soaking up milks leaves her a high strength intrigue-pow that also has among the best stats in game if some whelps are on board (renown, stand after attack and stealth post-milk are unlike any other milked character) and her milkable debuff and intrigue being so strong also inherently means less milks on Drogo Jamie and Tyrion.
I have to agree with Vanzig, out of the core Dany is necessary for Targ simply for card draw. She is Targ's only draw engine and thus is kind of irreplaceable. I think counting coppers offsets that disadvantage for you but provides a disadvantage itself by taking up one of your plot slots, I think you'd be much better off running Wildfire to thin the board if opponents flood early. Also Illyrio works really well with Tyrion and probably deserves a slot.
Perhaps I should've specified that this deck was made purely for fun. From what I'm hearing from people is that it can backfire. I experienced that myself but also noticed when this deck is on top, it's on top. So, that makes it a 50/50 kind of deck. Maybe as the first chapter packs get released they'll be cards that could easily slide into this deck.
I built similar deck (without Daenerys), simly because the high cost -curve. I run no Joffrey, but I have Magister Illyrio for standing your characters (there will be gold from Tyrion) against Baratheons. Dany will be missed for the draw. There is no possibility to draw any cards in this deck and it hurts... So Counting Coppers maybe... If there will be some draw options available, Dany is absolutely not needed in this deck.
I didn´t play my deck yet, so can´t say any experience, but the idea is similar.
But in my oppinion Stark deck is better murdering machine than this...

Glad to hear that! Fill free to post your thoughts after trying it. Hopefully the cores will be here by next weekend!!

I tried this deck. Lots of fun. Lots of murder.
But it can backfire pretty easily if your opponent plays their hand more than the board.
I know that's a little cryptic, but it's what I've experienced playing it on OCTGN.

Joffrey is a really terrible card and you should play Dany.
I'm toying around with something like this:

But I want to add in Seal of the Hand to help vs Bara, and maybe Varys as well, which will change things.
