I think a third copy of Tyrion would be good, he is one of the strongest characters in the game. 3 copies of chamber of the painted table seems like quite a lot to me personally. Consider fitting in some more limited economy cards, they are really needed in 2.0 so far I feel like.

Noted with thanks pal. Chamber of the Painted Table is awesome in conjunction with The Iron Throne and can result in impossible situations for your opponent, so I have kept two of them. I've increased the character count to 32 at the expense of a couple of less important events. I've also adjusted the locations based on the play testing done. Finally, there's also a Summons plot in there to increase the changes of finding the red lady early :)

The latest changes: (2x) Tywin Lannister and The Tickler are out and are replaced by (2x) Ser Davos Seaworth and Shireen Baratheon.

Tried this deck and adored it. Controlled the game the whole way. Love the combination of Painted table and iron throne plus tyrion. Just deadly.

Some more updates:

-1x Marched to the Wall

-1x Wildfire Assault

+1x A Noble Cause

+1x Calling the Banners

-1x Ser Davos Seaworth

-1x Joffrey Baratheon

-2x Cersei Lannister

+2x Tywin Lannister

+1x Varys

+1x The Queen's Assassin

-1x Casterly Rock

+1x Chamber of the Painted Table

More gold is required from the plots to allow the higher cost characters to enter play. Tywin further supports the gold curve. Varys replaces the reset plots as a safeguard. The locations have been adjusted slightly to reflect their relative importance.

6 eco loc, is it enough for you ?

Generally interesting connection of factions.

Do you have prevail of winnings or losings with this deck ?

Hi pal

After the above changes I had a few games today; the deck did much better as regards the cost curve. In those games I was able to field 8-12 characters by the mid game. The limiting factor tended to be cards in hand, as opposed to availability of gold.

Unfortunately I don't have a record of its total win:loss record, sorry. In any event it has been iterated quite a few times and each iteration may perform somewhat differently than the others. It does however seem to be a good deck and may yield a good record in expert hands.

This was a challenging deck to play against, nice work!

Thanks a lot pal! The deck feels quite strong and is certainly the strongest version of its many iterations. The plot changes really help fuel the economy and get the cards played out liberally.

The next task is to see whether the Westeros Cycle cards result in any adjustments...

1x The Hound comes in for 1x Burned Men.

Dear all

I would really appreciate if you could go here and like the deck (only if you do like it of course!):

I am keen to write card reviews on that site but it only allows a user to write as many reviews as they have likes.

Hmm, The Hound is super good! 2x for him then...and out with the Gold Cloaks!

Further updates after comments from lemming!

I don't know which version is the more updated version but I think having Maester Cressen somewhere in there is the right choice at least at 1x. I've been playing around with a similar deck and I cut Confiscation for Here to Serve. With cressen it will accomplish the most common function of Confiscation and if you see Cressen naturally or if your opponent doesn't play milk you can go fetch Maester Pycelle to get some draw going.

Updated the thronesdb deck in line:

Indeed pal, 2x to be sure! And I kept the plot as well, it is quite robust that way as regards attachment control. For example, if the first Milk goes on Cressen then it can be removed by the plot before the opponent finds a second one for Melisandre!

Doesn't this deck need to run supp of the people? You have so many juicy targets.

After more play-testing, a few more changes:

1) Changed A Game of Thrones to Here to Serve, to facilitate the tutoring of Maester Cressen or Grand Maester Pycelle.

2) Removed Put to the Sword, reduced Seal of the Hand to 1x. Added 2x Support of the People.

Comments on (1): the former plot sometimes backfired since I could not guarantee intrigue superiority over any other deck; the new plot helps find two of the most important characters.

Comments on (2): I did not encounter the chance to use the former event. The attachment is intended specifically for Tywin and as such is situational (and less consistent). The new event will help to put the vital locations into play without a tempo loss.

Hmm, how about Cersei's Wheelhouse? Is there room for it here?

I would cut the second copy of chamber for a wheelhouse.

Sold!

I played this deck tonight and while I didn't do well (not knowing the game that well) I feel that this is a deck that offers muyltiple opportunites for winning. Personally I ended up putting some Cersai in and then using Plot Game of Thrones, and Wildfile. I am intereseted to see where this deck ends up going.

Thanks for the comments pal! In fact I had more Cersei and those plots earlier, and ended up removing them after many test games.

Wildfire may hurt if you have more characters out than the opponent, which is quite likely. The other plot change was to ensure I could find my maesters (Cressen especially is very important).

Adding more Cersei is certainly a viable choice!

After a long sabbatical the deck returns, updated for the latest chapter packs!
