HB EFT: Biotic Rush

What do you  think of Aggressive Secretary? It would not go with the theme but that's why it might be good.

I've used it before, and it's really hard to get it to hit at the right time. Thomas Haas has the benefit that if the runner doesn't bite, just trash him and get the money back.

This deck is not generally going to ruin the runner's day; it's mostly about just being beefy enough, scoring 4-5 points in the early game and then playing a bluffing/waiting game with the runner in the end game, baiting them to run into an expensive remote into Thomas Haas or an Ash, if necessary.

I should note, as an update, that I removed the successful demonstrations and threw in 2 melange and 1 ash. I just can't reliably fire off the successful demonstrations in this deck, and I can cheaply protect Melange with the ICE I'm running (since it's ETF, if I'm ever tempted to click for a cred I can just throw something cheap over a new server, and later put a melange there).

Further update:

Pretty significant changes. I put the updated deck strategy in, but the major elements are cheaper ICE and fast advance capabilities thrown in.

The fast advance is to solve the problem I tend to run into of not being able to score in the late game. With the biotic labors in (and some points scored through a remote early), I can fast advance out my last points without having to play a game of chicken with the runner over a taxing remote. Instead, I can focus taxing power on the centrals to keep them from fishing out the agendas before I'm ready.

The cheaper ICE came from a tournament yesterday where I wasn't able to pull up enough cash when Noise trashed 2 hedge funds out of my R&D. Ichi 2.0 and Tollbooth are great taxes but far too expensive for the early game. Vik2, Eli1, Viper and Heim2 should provide enough central tax for the late game and throwing in the cheaper Caduceus and Ichi1 will help me get off the ground faster (as well as add more sentries).

Also, this deck would LOVE Eve campaign, but I don't have that data pack.

Sorry for the bump; came up with a cuter name.

Also noted I misspelled the cuter name; I'll fix that later.

As an update, I switched 1x Viper for 1x NEXT Bronze. When I get the right ICE early, this deck works amazingly well and fast. The problem I've been running into is against Andromeda Underworld Contacts. They've got the 1x link to start plus they're going to grab another for the UWC. That just chews through Caduceus and Viper like no one's business and sets them up with steady cash to fight the tax in this deck. The result is that they can burn through my early defenses (unless I get Ice Wall and NEXT Bronze) just with cash, and late they've got the money to fight through my centrals.

To counter this, I'm going to try and find more cheap ETR ICE to throw into this deck. I don't have any more good ones (I could use Enigma, but I dislike how poor it is as a tax late for how expensive it is early) with the datapacks I have, but I'm looking at buying Double Time this week, perhaps. I'll definitely remove some ICE to replace with Quandary when that happens.

Would anyone recommend any other cheap early ETR ICE to rush a Priority Requisition behind?

Now you've got all those NEXT Bronze, it's pretty hard to argue with NEXT Silver. It requires a decoder, which Viper sometimes doesn't. Or if you want to go super cheap, there's always quandary. I like the super cheap EtRs, but they sometimes suffer against Shapers who can pull breakers out to order. Rushing a Priority Req behind any cheap ICE is bold, although obviously a huge win if you pull it off.

Parasite is a worry. Now that Yog is falling out of fashion, Datapike might be good (although I'm aware that I'm pushing the 'Cheap' criterion). The strength 2 means that it won't die in one turn to Parasite + Grimoire. SModCode for Zu will cost six creds to break it, which is a possibility but an acceptable risk. Runners who face check it without a plan will get an expensive surprise.

Inside Job is also an issue. Probably worth throwing a pop-up in front of your EtR vs. Crim.
