I could make a super lengthy critique of this, but I don't think it would be that helpful so I'll stick to some really basic advice.
The deck seems very expensive for the amount of economy it has. 20 ICE is a lot. For those reasons, -3 ICE, +3 Hedge Funds is a big improvement. Trust me, you will never be sad to see a hedge fund.
The big advantage of biotic labour is that it negates the need for a giant server. The extra click lets you install and score a three cost agenda in a single turn. Usually decks that use that type of fast advance trick don't bother with big remotes.
You may want to consider not ICEing things like marked accounts and PAD at all. If the runner pays five to trash a marked accounts that you've not even rezzed, that's a win for you. They probably can't afford to trash the one you play next turn.
Thanks.
What 3 ICE?
My knee jerk reaction is to say 3x Sherlock. He certainly doesn't see a lot of play and there are probably good reasons for that. That said, he's the sort of card I include in order to be interesting and different and he is a pretty big tax once he's up and running.
You've got quite a few smallish code gates, so you can maybe trim a viktor (I guess you want viper for the Chilo Grid thing). Ditto sentries and Ichi.
So I guess you drop 1x sherlock, 1x viktor and 1x ichi. In general your ICE suite looks pretty solid to me, although I'm far from a pro.
Should i drop chilo?
What about closed accounts?
Dropped x2 Sherlock and 1 ichi
added x3 hedge fund
I'm wary of being one of those guys who tells new players that they should play like everybody else. New players often do unexpected things and sometimes those things turn out to be stronger than experienced players think they are. I'm not that strong or experienced a player, but I've learnt some deck archetypes. What I really don't want to do is tell you that you should play the archetype and destroy all of the fun and creativity in your deck. There's more than enough of that going on already without me contributing to it.
All of that said, here's the argument against ChiLo. ChiLo is probably going to land a tag when you rez it. If that tag is still there on your turn, you can play closed accounts, trash resources, and generally poo on the runner's lawn. That's great, but good runners are aware of the existence of such effects and will play around them. The usual advice is 'don't run last click'. That way, the runner has time to recover from tags and damage they take while running. Assuming the runner follows this advice, ChiLo will cost them a click and two creds to clear their tag. Meanwhile it costs you two clicks (one to draw and one to play) plus three creds to rez. Then there's the influence cost.
Closed accounts is not necessarily a terrible include on its own. Some runners will play 'Tag Me' decks with plascrete carapaces and either no resources or protected resources. Closed Accounts will let you punish them for the hubris of account siphoning you without clearing their tags. On the other hand, it will often be a dead card. If you've got Chaos Theory accross the table building the instant deathrig you'll wish it was just more money or ICE.
I'm gonna get rid of chilo and closed accounts. i play tested with them and it was bad.
What should i replace them with?
The obvious answer is SanSan City Grid. It generally sits in its own server being expensive to trash, so it goes with your asset economy/encryption protocols. Once it's out, you can rez it for a fast advance on any future turn. With Biotic Labour, you're basically looking to score all your agendas from hand.
With -2 closed, -2 Chilo, +2 SanSan you've got a 46 card deck. Fast advance is expensive (which it needs to be because it's really unfair) so I would suggest filling your last three slots with more money. Maybe Private Contracts.
A note about rez timing. There are lots of windows you can rez stuff in and its good to learn the best ones to use for each thing. Specifically, rez asset economy at the very end of the runner's turn after his last click. That way it pays you as soon as it's rezzed. Rez encryption protocol when the runner runs one of your assets. Rez SanSan only when you want to use it to fast advance.
What about melange mining corp?
Melange is awesome, but costs only one to trash, so it's not necessarily good if you're not planning to run ICEd remote servers. That said, your deck still runs enough ICE to protect a remote and you can use it for SanSan or maybe an Adonis once melange has done it's job.
I realised after posting the above that the base set contains only a single SanSan, which is pretty rubbish. Not sure what else to suggest splashing influence on. Maybe Snare? Runners hate to see Snare; it makes them cautious and afraid.
Ooh, another option is Trick of Light, which you have access to from Trace Amount. Three influence is a lot, and you only have one advancable ICE (icewall) but it does give you another Fast Advance trick. Build up Ice Wall, then when the time comes play your agenda, trick of light, and advance it once the regular way to score.
Should i keep what about tollbooth? should i replace it with another Trick of Light?
That's a tough one. Tollbooth is Elite ICE. It's really good. I think I've dictated your deck enough. You should play it and find out what you do and don't like about it. I'd love to hear how it goes.
Okay. I am gonna be playing 2-3 games in the next few days so stay tuned.
