My opinion on a good two core support build for Daisy.

Daisy is not easy to build for in the core I find. She just can't plug all the holes. She has powerful answers to every situation, but only temporary ones. That means in my opinion she is going to have a hard time making it through the campaign alone. I've ditched the idea and instead just accepted that Daisy is going to be supporting other investigators. In that capacity I think she's actually really solid. Also she is the queen of investigation so we don't really need to build a deck to support her in that regard. She'll always have an easy time picking up those clue tokens.
Forget about fighting. Daisy will never be even a decent fighter. Also forget about agility. She's going to be terrible at straight up evasion. So what is Daisy good at you might ask. She has a card pool that's filled with silver bullet cards, and she has great search and draw effects.
So I started with Old Book Of Lore. That's the key to Daisy I think. You need that filtered draw to look for the answers to your particular solution. To up the chance of seeing it early I've opted for two copies of Research Librarian as my ally of choice. The Initiate is a good card, but Research Librarian fetching us the Book Of Lore is so much more powerful and Daisy can use the Book with her free action so it's playing to her strengths. Once the Book Of Lore is out remember you can use it's abilities on other investigators at your location as well. Once you havea tome out that research librarian can just be killed off or overwritten by Dr. Chris. The Research Librarian is just a way to up the probability that we'll be able to play a tome turn 1. Dr. Chris is a great resource engine and will help us make good use of Hyperawareness and/or Arcane Studies to cover the holes in Daisy's stat line.
The next most important thing we need is Scrying. Scrying will help us make sure Daisy doesn't draw anything off the encounter deck she can't handle.
For combat Daisy needs to dig for Shrivelling. She's not the best magic user, but Shrivelling will give you a fighting chance. Hopefully Scrying will keep you out of trouble most of the time. In a pinch Mind Over Matter can help you either fight or escape battle. It's probably one of if not the most powerful card for Daisy and should be 2x in her deck at all times in my opinion.
Since we have no real good way to evade with Daisy we need to be creative. Ward of Protection can just avoid a bad scenario and Scrying can help cherry pick an encounter Daisy can overcome. Barricade can help save Daisy from hunters. If you are forced into a confrontation then Daisy has only really two options. Mind Over Matter and Blinding Light.
Since most of the time Daisy's answer to tough enemies in the core is to run away she needs to be paired with a capable fighter like Roland or Skids in my opinion.
Mulligan priority is definitely Old Book of Lore or Research Librarian. That enables Daisy to be a very valuable investigator from the start. Shrivelling in your opening hand or Scrying is also really valuable since it will mean she won't just be stuck if the encounter deck doesn't go her way.
Experience priorities in my opinion are hard for Daisy because she has some of the best options for upgrades. Number one on the list has to be Encyclopedia. That card really makes Daisy sing as a support character. Disc of Itzamna is probably second can replace your Rosary since it can just banish an enemy. I feel that's such a strong ability. Upgraded Blinding Light is also a great boost if you need to round out your experience purchase.
Updates: Dropped Mag Lens since it was not really that useful and competed for hands slots. Dropped Barricade which was helpful sometimes but mostly was just discarded to skill checks. Added Dr. Chris, and Deduction to speed up investigation. Traded 1 Arcane Studies for 1 Hyperawareness to add flexibility.
