Pro tip: Since this card doesn't specify "this can cause the Agenda deck to advance", playing it when you're 1 away from Agenda card completion essentially removes the downside (since the last counter would be placed next Mythos phase anyway).

It also works if you use it to find a spell and sacrifice her to monsters before Doom reaches the threshold.

Also true, but I want this 1-cost, absolute card-drawing machine in play as long as I can!

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, but is says place on Doom on "it", not the Agenda deck specifically. To me that implies placing the Doom on the Initiate herself, but I'm not sure what that does.

- Doom on cards other than the agenda (such as enemies, allies, locations, etc.) counts towards the amount of doom in play.
