This has got to be one of the best cards in the game. It's like First Aid on steroids.
Yes and no. A lot of times I feel the time crunch is just too much to justify it. Every action counts, and while I have seen it used, we always felt so miserable about using it because you just want those actions for other things. Plus if you feel like you have no other option but to heal, you're probably already in a bad enough spot in the campaign that it might not be in time. If we see one that heals horror however, that will probably be in much higher use.
I like that the game doesn't make any card seem bad (although some are so situational as to be lower demand).
This is definitely a great card. But using it definitely slows down your investigation. Of course, dying slows down your investigation even more. So do you include it? Do you play two? And so on.
Great for solo Daisy as she can use her character specific ability to use this Tome's action and not use up one of her base three actions per round. With her low Health and high Intellect this Tome can be a real life-saver for her.
