The Libraries of Yog-Sothoth

I am wondering if I can find a way to use http://www.cardgamed...down-shards-wop, as with additional arcane struggles from Alexandria means I can keep chipping away at my opponent's hand.

Sadly a critical rule has been pointed out by Danigral via Skype:

(1.11) Forced Responses
A Forced Response must trigger, if able, and is not considered a player triggered effect, but is instead a card triggered effect triggered by the game state that is resolved by the player who controls the card.

As a result, Hermetic Text won't trigger the libraries, though will allow them to benefit from The Great Library and the passive effects.

So I understand the theme of the deck, but your two factions arguably have some of the best events in the game and you didn't select any of them? You'll be totally "what you see is what you get" during the story phase.

What do you think about adding 3 to 6 event cards? Pushed and Buju come to mind.
Also you have a conflict with Alienist and Peaslee. Alienist prevents characters changing control, shutting down your own Peaslee. Given Peaslee's operations only errata it will be tough to get around I suspect.

Thanks for the comments & questions Obtuse.

I went without events, simply because of space. With 19 supports and 3 conspiracy, it was already tight enough before looking at events ;)

In regards to Peaslee and Alienist, whilst they do clash, if I see Peaslee and not Alienist I am fine, or even better, Peaslee and then if they don't exchange immediately, play Alienist to stop him coming back.

However, after the discovery that Hermetic Text doesn't trigger the libraries, and some Skype chat, I've actually started working on a mono-MU version, as without the texts the benefit of Yog diminished significantly.
