My previous decks have all been rather large, with eighty to ninety-seven cards. They made stacking card effects very unrealistic, being bogged down with events and three copies of every unique character. I wanted to make those card effects more accessible, with multiple paths and opportunities.
I play melee and joust about equally, always with Greyjoys, and it is all casual with three friends who play and we share a card pool. We are all keeping things house-exclusive for the most part, and I hope to stick with that. With previous decks, my victories were always by a nose and defeats were spectacular. I always had difficulty moving and claiming power unless everything aligned just right.
So far, this has fared much better. I have more spectacular victories, and my defeats have been much closer. I have used it in both formats to great effect.
