Using Pentoshi Manor in a Targaryen deck is nothing new. If i remember it correctly, it was this combination that got Pentoshi Manor in the restricted list.
The creation of the deck came after being frustrated on building a proper Dragonpit deck still using the restricted list. I decide to abandon the dragonpit and think of a different way to control challenges. Pentoshi Manor fits the requirement. Instead of going for the old KOTHH build, i went for conquest to add more Lannister cards in the deck.
So conquest adds more than just the Manor. Obviously i want to put in Lannister greatest strength which is card draw. And added characters that synergize with Targ ability to reduce STR.
Since i am no longer tied up to dragonpit, i didn't really have to make a shadow deck. Instead i use, summer seasons card as additional card draw and economy.
The goal is to try set all your manors to exert battlefield control. And eventually use aegon's hill to pressure your opponent to put their characters in the field. The deck needs a lot of parts to create the ideal situation. Hence the extra card draw is needed.
Burn cards aren't exclusively used to kill characters. You can use them to kill characters but i use them to amke it easier to trigger Drogo, Clegane and Payne abilities.
You also use them in junction with Pyrophobia. Especially if the opponent is using Pentoshi to build up power on the character.
@Xanshi so i see these decks you posted were in June 2021.. do you still play? I have been looking through these decks and I wasn't sure if your knowledge of the game was well rounded when posting these decks. I dont mean any disrespect, and they look good - I'm still a novice in some ways so i can't tell the depth of the decks.

These days i do not play the game. Majority of the players i used to play have move on to different card game. The decks i recently posted were born out of boredom while cleaning up my cards in storage. Am i an expert? I would say i have sufficient knowledge of the game. But i wouldn't call myself a great player.
This deck is untested but the ideas on it are logically. In it's height, nobody really build a Conquest deck, so i decide to explore how can i take advantage combining two house together. So i decide to look at Targaryen who can control the game so well. But they just requires multiple cards to do so. By adding Lannister cards you can accelerate battlefield control thru card draw.
