Hello, I tested your deck and I am glad to use it.

I changed the holding "Imperial Storehouse" for "Favorable Ground". "SpyGlass" and this holding are a good strat. Move your bowed shugenja in other battle and ready him/her with "Against the wave" could give you a second chance to destroy in one turn 2 provinces in an early phase.

I wish to include "Know the World" to switch rings to recover one fate if a ring has 2 fates(one to recover the fate spent) or use "Covert" from "Adept of the Waves" if you claim water and want to create another conflict with this ring. Or avoid to other player to claim a necessary ring for his strat or don't let him to get an extra fate.

Court game and For Shame! are nice cards with your courtiers. You can bow, dishonor or honor. If you are honored, your SH gives you +2 MIL and POL. If the enemy decides to dishonor. You can give you the glory instead and reduce his stats.

PS: Once I play more times, I could give more impressions.

Thanks for your input. I did end up putting 2 know the world in (I think 3 may be too much). It really comes in handy when using the scholar's earth ability or just trying to claim a ring twice.I may take out charge simply for the fact that it's for military conflicts only, costs 1, and I normally do not have people faced up and like to invest most of my guys.

    Hello,

I noticed that you experiment with two Phoenix builds, one with Crane and one with Unicorn (the last centered on Shungenja). I am curious how you have fared with both.

I have played Phoenix with Crab (Watch Commander / Reprieve / Hiruma Ambusher) mainly focused on honor wins.

Now I am thinking more of focusing on Shungenja (just like you do in this deck) using Unicorn as influence, because I love the Iuchi Wayfinder as well as Spyglass and Favored Mount. I am not so convinced about Breakthrough. I must add that I have not been able to play much so my experience is very limited.

The rest of the above build is more or less how I built it, except for Spies at Court. In its stead I use Charge.

Could you tell me a bit more of the cards that were very helpful in your experience?

    Thanks in advance.

Honestly, this deck is pure experimental in the fact that I have not had the opportunity to play test it. I main Crane influence: http://www.cardgamed...e-elements-r131 I tend to alter things with this deck when I known they didn’t work for the other to a certain degree. For instance, the lack of usefulness of shiba peacekeeper (i’d rather run otomo courtier it’s cheap, I can attack/defend with her, and she is a courtier). Thus, dynasty and provinces are the same, I noticed this deck seemed fairly popular so I am trying to test it out (especially Iuchi wayfinder I hate attacking and its shameful display)

With the addition of the talisman I decided to try out shameful display again and maximize my potential honor/dishonor actions. I have started to play my unicorn splash a lot more and don't miss kuroi mori in this deck (with other splashes I still prefer it over shameful display). This deck tends to win from military mostly thus far but I haven't had the chance to really shoot for dishonor yet. I'm interested to see how it fairs I'm having trouble finding a spot to put X2 Know the World back in. This may become my new favorite splash.
