The more I play this card, the more I like it. I play just a single copy, since Scorpion has a high draw and usually ends drawing or searching it. Reminds me of Dragon Ancestral attachments, so you can create a great card advantage returning it to your hand when attached character is about to leave the board. As an added benefit, is gives an astonishing +1/+2 and can be reused in the same turn. I have played it a lot of times just for that +1 in military and has helped to break a lot of provinces.

Even if it dishonors, you can recover it at the end of the turn once the attached character is already dishonored. Since it's an effect, not a cost, you can bypass it.

In my case (my personal deck, not generally speaking) I have stopped running katanas in Scorpion. Those are attachments that end in the discard pile sooner than later, and usually a +1 is enough for an Unassuming Yojimbo to break a province. Then, back to my hand it goes and continues being a potential +2 in politics when needed.

This card is hilarious to me because IMO it's better than Kitsuki's Method and isn't Restricted.  You can only ask 2 questions, but you can wear any number of masks.

I like it lot.  Occasionally you even get some real fun out of it, like dishonoring a Blackmailed character.

Interesting - I'd avoided it, as I saw dishonouring as "too much of a cost", but your'e right, it's not actually a cost at all.

Will add a copy. Cheers for the thoughts.

You'd be surprised how many cards are "avoided" when they can really shine in the appropiate strategy.

With the spoiled Province where you count both Military and Political skill in the challenge there, would that make those who don't use it be more willing to? As personally I'm not keen on something which increases both stats as I will generally only use one per turn, and depending on the character unless they also balanced I only care about one of the stat increases (which is likely Political due to it being +2).

I don't think so. The +1 advantage in such a Province, where opponent's 3/3 will be real monsters, is not enough reason to include it if you already left it out of the deck. Any +x to political for 0 is already stronger, since you can use the stat in a military conflict.

So, including it depends a lot in the deck. It doesn't fit at all in a deck filled with katanas and banzais. You already have all the military and political boost you need for 0 cost. Paying 1 is redundant unless you really value its card advantage.

On the other hand, it shines when your deck has zero military boost, except a few characters with their skill set at 3 (and Yunako 4). Then each bit of +1 to military helps breaking, specially when the Unassuming Yojimbo uses covert. In those cases, you have a nice political boost with the added surprise effect in a close situation to a military break (which in such a deck, would happen very occasionally and at important moments).

The ability to give +2 to political twice, attacking and defending, or +2 to political and then +1 to military by recovering the card to your hand is generally undervalued.

Also, mentionable, that giving a buff in both stats, it makes your attached character more resilient to rout, outwit, brawler and such cards.
