This probably has some very clever and tricky applications. But it doesn't strike me as interesting right away.

It can target opponents provinces so great for clearing beefy charge targets or annoying holdings before you start your conflicts.

You can target your opponents provinces to remove iron mines or imperial palaces. It's pretty great. Could use it as a role unalligned sabotage.

There you go then!

Phoenix have so many good holdings that they'll have to choose which ones to keep in the binder to play this one.

If you go first with this you could also discard a game-changer before your opponent has the option to bring them in.

Yeah, damn this one is really strong. So many things to be done with it, in so many phases.

Agree that the only dilemma is WHICH holdings to run.

Right now I'm thinking 2 Forgotten Library, 2 Bustling Academy, 1 Kanjo District, 1 Imperial Palace.

Depends on the build, and on whether you run Keepers or not. I like to run 3 forgotten libraries, 2-3 favorable ground, a Kanjo District and no keepers. I think you can easily go to 7-9 holdings, including keepers.

Mostly, I guess I'm disappointed that Holdings hate has come to two strong clans rather than to Unicorn. And I don;t even play Unicorn.

There is also an option to play both this and magnificent lighthouse and just snipe all the dynasty cards that you do not want to play against, all the while getting your opponent closer to decking out the dynasty deck. Definitely something I will try to explore.

I also echo the sentiment that Phoenix did not really need holding hate. It would be great if there was neutral versions of cards that are good against attachments and holding, just like there is already a neutral card that is good against events. If only miya mystic was a conflict card.
