Simple and cool, I like it. Not sure why the Earth and Water rings make this girl fight better? That's the sort of little thing that gets me more into the game, if I understand it. Anyone got a nice explanation?
As you can see, the Crab Shugenja (Kuni Family) are focused on the Earth ring. Water has healing potential to wash away the Taint of the Shadowlands. I guess this represents the Kuni Shugenja's support?
Artwork is gorgeous regardless.
Earth and Water are the 2 elements most closely associated with the Crab clan. Earth is the element of endurance and stamina, the unmovable object that never waivers. Water is the element of strength, the irresistible force that will batter down any barrier with enough force and time. Lion is also associated with Water as is Unicorn.
Air and fire are elements associated with intelligence, creativity and physical dexterity and grace. The Crane, Dragon and Scorpion are most closely associated with these elements.
Void is the nothing and everything that binds the universe together. All people are connected to the void but only Phoenix as a clan are said to have a close association with the void.
If this had been a conflict character, may have been a good card. As a dynasty character, I can't think of a single card in my 40 that I'd take out for her.
Would it be useful if the Sacrifice theme grows in Crab? Because then you need a few more cheap bodies that can be sacrificed once they've been (effieciently) useful?
Well, at the very earliest this card's text will kick in on the round's second conflict, barring Phoenix-style pseudoring shennanigans. So that sacrifice-for-benefit may come too late in the phase to be useful.
