An interesting ability but frankly it doesn't fit that great into Lion's current themes, and giving up the bow/straighten seems weak compared to a 3 force bump.
It's similar to the Guidance of the ancestors in theme and effect. This is quite strong with the new stronghold since it is easier to win multiple military conflicts as lion, and this only cares about the next military conflict, too.
For now, this will be an interesting card for phoenix to splash and play. Only a single influence for something that phoenix can pick up easily with a water political challenge. Phoenix is more accustomed to playing characters with a lot of fate on them, too.
WEAAAAAPON!
Mentally file that for the Lion Weapon deck. Almost there. Almost there.
Anyway, right now I'm thinking Keeper of Water, which gives the reason to make Water as a first conflict when there's nothing to bow or ready. And obviously 3x Miya Satoshi.
I think Lion is going to need more means to fill their discard pile, and graveyard necromancy will then be their main deck type.
Works towards an interesting deck, and could help make water roles become more enticing. Seems fine.
@Asklepios - It seems like it's being pushed more towards Seeker of Water rather than Keeper. Time for War isn't great, but it gets a lot better with a bunch of 2-cost attachments (of course, "Time for War = meh + Restored Heirloom = meh and Time for War + Restored Heirloom = decent" isn't exactly a great formula). But more importantly Pathfinder Blade. I'd think the Water part is more questionable than the Seeker part, except that Fight On is a card.
Coupled with my feeling that Lion is one of the only clans that actually has decent province choices for Seeker of Water, I think it will be a thing, but still needs help to be playable. (Something that lets you sacrifice a weapon for awesome effect? )
