Very neat, works especially well against other clans that refer to their claimed rings. Shiotome encampment for example.

Will they ban it for multiplayer? Like they seem to ban everything that suddenly works over charged?
I think that's really a sign that multiplayer still needs some tweaking.

It has some application for taking away claimed rings, and this is mostly relevant when you have a Tadaka in play and you want to take back the earth ring they went all-in on last challenge. Taking away a military ring for Shiotome encampment is also neat, but the real deal is that roving michibiku just swing the glory towards the favor by 2.

So, the ability is a little strange, but not at all bad.

On the other hand, this is not the strongest of characters in a conflict. It does nothing to help you win conflicts, has low stats and a single glory. It is a monk and a scholar, so you could play it with Asako Tsuki to get it honored, potentially leading to a boost with the old stronghold. As a monk, you could perhaps use this when you are splashing dragon for the kiho cards.

The biggest slam against this card is that very few phoenix decks are in the market for a 3 cost dynasty character, and they will go to Haughty magistrate, radiant orator and shiba yojimbo first. They might even go for the henshin disciple, another good 3 drop monk & scholar. Perhaps this will have a home in a deck that is all about monks, scholars and dragon splashes.

Yeah, three for 2/2/1 seems pretty poor, the traits save it a little, but not enough to run. Agree it's one for the monk-trick phoenix/dragon jank deck.
