Huh. A Crane who is really good at MIL, Weird. 6 attack with covert, that's a break in a gift basket, which is not something you expect out of Crane on MIL.
Guess I'll be going back to Fury as my restricted...
Except the Cranes are good at counterspelling aren't they?
Okay, I'm already imagining feeling annoyed by this guy.
Harpooning him with Hawk Tattoo I guess is the way to go. Which is weird, when you think about it, a Crow getting a tattoo of a bird.
I mean, it's obviously cool. Good stats, really helpful ability, it's a giant crow-man.
But this just doesn't seem right to me. I don't know what's off about it. Maybe it's that military in Crane aspect? I know that I am very sad that the Duelist trait is really not doing a lot at the moment, especially as Duels slowly get more common.
This ability is super strong, but cloud the mind is everywhere, which means you could just be left with a 4/2 with 2 glory. I think the other two crane 5s, Hotaru and Yoshi, are overall just stronger when they get clouded. Without the cloud, Tengu is very powerful since he traps one of their other characters if you are on the offense, meaning that this is yet another card that wants you to be the first player when you buy it.
The one thing that is really special about this card is that it is a five that is not unique. I think this is currently a bit of a drawback, because this makes you vulnerable to Uona, karmic twist, press of battle and smoke among other cards. You also won't find yourself with fate left over to play multiples of this card that frequently. Usually I am happy to throw away a duplicate to add one fate to an existing character.
